زيت السمسم هو زيت نباتي صالح للأكل مشتق من بذور السمسم. ويستخدم بشكل اساسي للطهي في الهند كما نه يستخدم كمحسن نكهة في الصين واليابان وكوريا . ويستخدم للطهي بشكل أقل في جنوب شرق أسيا .   زيت السمسم يحتوي على قيمة غذائة عالية حتى قيل انه الغذاء الكامل لكثرة احتوائيه على قيم غذائية مفيده. كما انه يستخدم كعلاج لكثير من الأمراض ويستخدم بشكل كبير كمغذي للبشره وللشعر لذا فهو يعتبر من أفضل ما تستخدم المرأه للمحافظه على بشرة ناعمه وشعر ناعم صحي وفيما يلي بعض فوائد زيت السمسم ومكوناته:   - يستخدم في الطبخ لرائحته الممتازة ونكهته الجيده . - مضادّ للسّرطان. - يحتوي على الأقلّ سبعة مركّبات مخفّفة للألم. - لتخفيف القلق. - لأمراض اللثة والأسنان. - يساعد في تخفيف الكولسترول و يمنع تصلّب الشّرايين. - يستخدم كملين للجهازالهضمي وتخفيف الإمساك. - معالجة عدم وضوح الروئية و الدّوار و الصّداع. -علاج لحساسية الجلد. - تهدئه الأعصاب وتسكين التوتر. - لتدليك الجسم بسبب صفاته الخاصّة . - للصحة العامة والرشاقة وجمال البشرة والشعر. - يستخدم كحامي للبشرة من أشعة الشمس الحارقة. - يستخدم في حالة الآلام المصاحبة للحيض. - يحتوي على تركيبة بروتينات تجعله تقريباً الطعام الكامل. - يحتوي على كمية عالية جداً من الأميثيونين.   - يحتوي على الدهن الأميني الذي يزيد الذاكرة. - يحتوي على فيتامين (E) الذي ينشط الدورة الدموية. - يحتوي على الكالسيوم والبوتاسيوم، والفوسفات. - لا يحتوي على الكولسترول لذلك ينشط حركة الدم في الشرايين . - يستخدم لعرق النسا - تقوم المعادن الموجوده في زيت السمسم بعلاج الوَهن والفتور وضعف الأعصاب وليونه العظام وخمول الأنزيمات الناتج عن نقص وفقدان هذه المعادن . - يُستخدم زيت السمسم لأمراض القلب وتصلُب الشرايين حيث أن زيت السمسم له فائده كبيرة في تنشيط الدورة وذلك لاحتوائه علي فيتامين (ج)الذي يساعد علي تنشيط القلب.

   استيقظ ضمير الثعبان فجأة وأراد أن يكفر عن ذنوبه السابقة ويكف عن إيذاء الآخرين فسعى إلى راهب هندي يستفتيه في أمره فنصحه الراهب بأن ينتحي من الأرض مكانا معزولا وأن يكتفي بالنزر اليسير من القوت  تكفيرا عن جرائمه ففعل ذلك لكنه لم يسترح لأن مجموعة من الصبيان جاءوا اليه فقذفوه بالحجارة فلم يرد عليهم فشجعهم ذلك على أن يذهبوا اليه في كل يوم  ويقذفوه بالحجارة حتى كادوا يقتلوه فعاد الثعبان مره أخرى إلى الراهب يسأله ، فقال الراهب : إنفث في الهواء نفثه كل إسبوع ليعلم هؤلاء الصبيه أنك تستطيع رد العدوان إذا أردت . فعمل الثعبان بنصيحة الراهب فأبتعد الصبيه عنه وأستراح . ***************************** لا تكن مفرطاً فى استخدامك للطيبة والتسامح حتى لا يعتبرها الآخرون ضعفا ومهانه ان تكون طيباً لا يعنى أن تكون ضعيف
