“The best of you are the best of you to their wives,” taught the Prophet, peace be upon him. Ibn Asakir adds: “No one honours women but an honourable man, and no one disrespects women but a lowly man.” Honouring women comes in many forms: how you perceive them, how you look at them. It must be with respect. The thoughts you have of them - they must be respectful. Not like modern youths, who think that if a woman speaks politely to them it means she is interested in them. It is time to honour women as we have been taught to.
