The Islamic unity has been hit by failure

".. أن الوحدة الإسلامية قد أصيبت بالعطل، والمسؤول عن ذلك هو الحضارة الغربية وعناصرها الدنيوية.. ومع ذلك فإن بين شعوب الإسلام المتعددة المختلفة مثالاً مشتركًا، وأصولاً عقدية تقوم عليها وحدة في الثقافة، ومن واجب المسيحية أن تقدر هذه الظاهرة وتقلدها. إن عالمنا هذا الذي مزقته الجماعات المتحاربة، والذي لا يعرف حكمًا أعلى بيده مصير الإنسانية، ليجدر به أن يتدبر تصوّر الوحدة الجوهرية للحياة كما أسسها الإٍسلام، ولا شك أن هذه الوحدة – في أحسن صورها – سيكون لها أثرها – بالقوة إن لم يكن بالفعل – في الحاجات الروحية للناس في أيامنا الحاضرة"(2).[1]

The Islamic unity has been hit by failure, and the responsibility for this is Western civilization and its worldly elements. However, among the different peoples of Islam, there is a common example and contractual principles based on unity in culture, and it is the duty of Christianity to appreciate and imitate this phenomenon. Which is torn by warring groups and who does not know a higher judgment in the fate of humanity, should not be able to conceive of the basic unity of life as established by Islam.
