حكومات لشعوبها دخل ضمن جهود الحرب على الارهاب ويسوق أدلته على فوائد هجمه 11 سبتمبر على الاقتصاد الامريكي وأن السيناريو الخفي كان قيادة أمريكا لابن لادن والطالبان لهذه الهجمة مثل ما قادتهم قبلا لحرب السوفييت تحت الشعارات الدينية ،هذه الهجمة خدمت جماعات الضغط الصناعية العسكرية والمالية بتوجيه السياسة الامريكية نحو الحرب لتشكل ازدهارا اقتصاديا -كالازدهار الاقتصادي في الحرب الكورية الذي جنب الولايات المتحدة أول أزمة لها بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية يعود بنا جارودي في رحلة موثقة ومليئة بالشواهد التاريخية الى أصول الحضارة الغربية غير المعلنة ويفند بطريقته المنطقية هذه الأصول ليظهر الاصول المخفية : مالذي نجنيه من حضارتنا المنحطة ؟؟ يؤكد "بول فاليري " أن ثلاثة تقاليد شكلت أوربا وهي : - المسيحية وبالتحديد الكاثوليكية في المجال الاخلاقي - التأثير المستمر للقانون الروماني - التراث الاغريقي في مجال الفكر والفنون ولماذا نفصل هذه التيارات الثلاثة عن مصادرها ؟ لانه هكذا يتولد الايهام بأن الغرب ما هو الا بداية مطلقة (ليس قبله شيء) وأنه ظهر كنبته منعزلة وحيدة كنوع من المعجزة التاريخية إن ذلك بمثابة إنكار ما هو جوهري : فإن ما اتفق على تسميته غربا ، ولد في العراق ومصر أي في أسيا و أفريقيا …ثم يفند جارودي الاساطير المتوهمه في هذا الغرب مثل اسطورة شعب الله المختار العبري والتي لم يوجد ما يؤيدها على الارض في كل أبحاث الاثار التي جرت في منطقة الشرق الاوسط ولا حتى الوجود العبري ذاته الذي قد يكون في أفضل حالاته قبائل عابرة هاجرت من الجزيرة العربية ضمن الهجرات الأرامية و تعايشت مع الكنعانيين وتطبعت بتراثهم حتى أن التوراه تكاد لا تنفصل عن التوراه الكنعانية أي النصوص الكنعانية المكتشفة في رأس شمره حتى التوحيد لا نجده استثنائيا عند العبرانيين بل نجد الملك أخناتون سبق المنطقة كاملة للتوحيد (توحيد الاله أتون) حتى أن المزمور 104 في التوراة مستوحى بالكامل من "نشيد الشمس " لأخناتون أما أسطورة أرض الميعاد والوعد الإلهي لإبرام (ابراهيم ) والذي أعتمد عليه الغرب في إعطاء الشرعية للغزو الاسرائيلي لفلسطين نجده منتشرا في قبائل الكنعانيين والحثيين فبعل الاله الكنعاني وعد دائما الرعاة بالاستقرار ، لقد كانت فكرة الشعب المختار أكثر الافكار دموية في التاريخ فقد أوحت -
